What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences over time.

How we use cookies

• Essential: required for authentication, session management, and security.
• Preferences: remember UI settings such as theme and last-opened lesson.
• Analytics: aggregated usage data so we can improve labs and content. We use Google Analytics 4 and Mixpanel for this. These are the only cookies that require your consent.

Your consent choices

We ask for consent based on where you are, and we never set analytics cookies before you have a choice:

• EU, EEA, and UK visitors: analytics cookies are off by default. We show a consent banner and only enable them after you select “Accept all”. Until then, Google Analytics runs in privacy-preserving Consent Mode, which collects no analytics cookies and no personal identifiers.
• Everywhere else: analytics cookies are on by default, and you can opt out at any time.

Changing your choice

You can update your preference at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of any page, which reopens the analytics toggle. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings, though some essential features may not work correctly without them.
